ANTISEL initiated a client-agency collaboration with Strictly Studio to explore how a scientific distributor could build a distinctive, audience-focused identity across a connected marketing and communications ecosystem.

The resulting work has been selected among the five finalists at the 2026 Life Science Sales & Marketing Awards in the Campaign of the Year category, which recognises sales and marketing initiatives that create meaningful impact across the life sciences sector. The nomination reflects ANTISEL’s broader strategic repositioning, with antisel.gr as the central digital hub of an integrated marketing, corporate communications and inbound ecosystem.

At the heart of this strategic exploration was a simple question:

Does scientific communication always have to look and feel conventional?

Is There Room for Identity and Experimentation in Scientific Communication?

Science progresses through curiosity, questioning and experimentation. Its communication, however, often relies on familiar conventions. In scientific distribution, it is understandably centered on products, technologies, manufacturers and technical information.

ANTISEL represents more than 200 international manufacturers, each with its own identity, communication standards and market presence. This raised another important question:

Can a scientific distributor representing so many established brands develop a distinct identity of its own?

Yes. For ANTISEL, identity is more than visual expression. It reflects a commitment to a consistent customer experience, from understanding a need and selecting the appropriate equipment to installation, training, service and ongoing support. Experimentation in communication helps make this breadth of expertise easier to understand and access.

From Product Led Communication to Audience Led Discovery

The new antisel.gr made this approach accessible through audience-led navigation.

Rather than asking visitors to understand ANTISEL’s internal structure or already know which technology they need, the platform allows them to begin with their scientific field, organisation or objective.

6 solution pillars, 19 specialised scientific and application domains and 3 audience routes form 28 interconnected discovery areas, making the route to relevant knowledge, expertise and support more intuitive.

Building a Connected Marketing and Communications Ecosystem

The website is the central hub of this ecosystem, not the whole of it. ANTISEL connected its scientific content and blog with social media, email marketing, events, services and inbound communication, creating a consistent experience across channels.

Strictly Studio envisioned and creatively directed the platform, translating this strategy into a modular, responsive website and a visual system in which colour-coded solution pillars extend across the relevant scientific and application domains. Bespoke generative visuals, produced by alāsu works through creative coding, evolve over time rather than playing as fixed animations.

This new digital presence builds on a much longer story. Since 1967, ANTISEL has grown alongside science, while maintaining the specialist expertise, technical support and personal relationships on which scientific distribution depends.

The 2026 Life Science Sales and Marketing Awards Shortlist

We are proud to be shortlisted alongside four organisations that have approached life science marketing through distinctive and highly impactful ideas:

  • Organomation represents specialist communication around laboratory sample-preparation and evaporation technologies.
  • SK pharmteco communicates scientific expertise, capabilities and collaboration across an international CDMO network.

Together with our own work, these projects show how life science marketing can make complex ideas more accessible, humanise scientific work and build connections across specialised communities.

Why this LSSM Awards Recognition Matters

Being shortlisted suggests that there is room for identity and creativity in scientific communication.

The winner will be announced on 14 October 2026 at The Fox, ExCeL London, with the ceremony also available via livestream.
