ROTEM® Sigma Educational Workshop by ANTISEL at PSEEK 2025
As part of the 2nd Educational Meeting of the Panhellenic Society of Clinical Perfusionists (PSEEK) and the 15th Symposium of Working Groups of the Hellenic Society of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesiology (EEXTHA), held on June 20–21, 2025 in Alexandroupoli, ANTISEL SA actively participated by hosting a hands-on clinical workshop focused on the use of ROTEM® Sigma, an advanced hemostasis technology by Werfen.
During the workshop:
- Participants were introduced to real clinical cases where Validated ROTEM® algorithms were applied for bleeding management,
- They observed a live demonstration of sample analysis and real-time data visualisation,
- They engaged in open discussion with ANTISEL experts, Mr. Alexandros Pouleres and Mr. Alkis Boulamatsis, who provided in-depth analysis on how this technology is implemented in daily clinical practice.
The engagement and interest shown by healthcare professionals were remarkable, confirming the ongoing need for continuous education and the integration of cutting-edge technologies into critical care decision-making.

For the third year in a row, ANTISEL Medical Equipment proudly supported hands-on training in resectoscopy procedures, part of the English-speaking postgraduate course led by Assoc. Prof. Angelos Daniilidis (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH)), hosted at PAPAGEORGIOU GENERAL HOSPITAL.

Εκδήλωση ΕΔΙΜΟ - Με επίκεντρο τον ασθενή, τη διάγνωση, την πρόληψη και τη θεραπεία του καρκίνου
Με αφορμή τη συμπλήρωση δύο χρόνων λειτουργίας, το Ελληνικό Δίκτυο Μοριακής Ογκολογίας (ΕΔΙΜΟ) πραγματοποίησε ανοιχτή εκδήλωση τη Δευτέρα 9 Δεκεμβρίου, στο Ελληνικό Ινστιτούτο Παστέρ.
Ήταν τιμή μας να βρισκόμαστε κι εμείς εκεί, συμβάλλοντας σε μια εκδήλωση αφιερωμένη στην καινοτομία και την επιστήμη. Από την ανάλυση του μοριακού προφίλ και τις γονιδιωματικές τεχνολογίες έως τις νέες θεραπευτικές προσεγγίσεις, το πρόγραμμα ανέδειξε την επιστήμη ως βασικό εργαλείο για την εξατομικευμένη φροντίδα του ασθενούς.
Είμαστε περήφανοι που συνεισφέραμε σε αυτή την προσπάθεια μέσα από τη χορηγούμενη παρουσίαση της Dr. Joanne Ngeow, Αναπληρώτριας Καθηγήτριας του Nanyang Technological University, η οποία μοιράστηκε τη δική της εμπειρία από ανάλογες πρωτοβουλίες στη Σιγκαπούρη.

Αυτό ήταν και το βασικό μήνυμα που μετέφερε ο κ. Κωνσταντίνος Λιλάκος, κατά τη διάρκεια της ομιλίας του, “DNA προφίλ στο πεδίο, η επόμενη ημέρα στην αντιμετώπιση κρίσεων και διαλεύκανση εγκλημάτων,” στην 3η Ημερίδα Συνεργασίας με θέμα τις Προκλήσεις στη Διαχείριση Κρίσεων και Καταστροφών. Το συνέδριο διοργανώθηκε από τη Διεύθυνση Υγειονομικού της Ελληνικής Αστυνομίας και την Ελληνική Εταιρεία Διαχείρισης Κρίσεων στον Τομέα Υγείας, υπό την αιγίδα του Ιατρικού Συλλόγου Αθηνών και με τη χορηγία της ANTISEL.
Και, πράγματι, όταν πρόκειται για φυσικές καταστροφές, μεγάλες έκτακτες ανάγκες ή για εγκληματολογικές έρευνες, 90 λεπτά μπορούν να αλλάξουν τα πάντα.

IR Microscopy – Big Insights from Small Examples

FT-IR technology has been widely adopted as a powerful analytical tool for non-destructive identification and characterization of both organic and inorganic materials, including additives and contaminants. Nevertheless, the standard FT-IR “bench” platform has limitations for the analysis of very small samples or those that have defects that are not readily visible to the eye.
Infrared microscopy allows the investigation of miniscule samples that are otherwise too challenging for the FT-IR bench, delivering high quality spectral data for samples smaller than the width of a human hair. This webcast will describe fundamental principles, capabilities, and sampling techniques used for infrared microscopy, along with some practical examples.
